R+D Contracts
Catholic University offers domestic and international companies the opportunity to engage in joint research and development projects (R+D) with UC researchers and faculty. These mutually beneficial projects constitute a prospect for combining the interdisciplinary capacities of UC’s18 schools that would take on project execution or implementation, in keeping with company needs.
Firms interested in this type of initiative can opt for reaping the benefits laid out under the Chilean Research and Development Act which aims to boost the competitive capacity of Chilean companies through an R+D tax incentive allowing companies to deduct up to 55% of total resources earmarked for R+D from their first category taxes.
The R+D Contract Office at the UC Anacleto Angelini Center for Innovation advises companies interested in these matters.
