Wine Consortium

The Chilean Consortium for Wine R+D is made up of 79 vineyards that together account for more than 80% of Chile’s bottled wine production and exports. Its goal is to develop long-term, efficient R+D of excellence focused on meeting the needs of the domestic wine industry across the board and boosting its competitiveness, so that it is better positioned as a diverse, sustainable, Premium wine producing nation.

Partner Institutions

The Wine Consortium is made up of five universities (including the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile), research centers, vineyards, nurseries and public agencies.
