Summary

This purpose of this app is to encourage children with special education needs how to read using a flexible, natural and fun method involving pathways that stimulate a range of skills such as auditory discrimination, phonological skills, linguistic skills, alphabet principles, and reading and writing.

Potential Use

Can be used as a resource by foundations and institutions working with special needs children.

Advantages

La Mesita is an app that can downloaded for free on touch devices, recommended for tablets. An Internet connection is required for downloading the app but not for using it.
