Layered Concrete Panels

Summary

Pre-fabricated or semi-prefabricated in-situ method for manufacturing layered concrete panels with variable thickness and density. Used to manufacture thermal insulation panels for exterior walls.

This is a new construction system for homes and buildings. The panels are made out of a uniform mixture of concrete and lightweight components that are divided into a thermal insulation layer and a structural layer using a controlled separation process, which optimizes the construction process and cuts down on the labor and time required for building exterior walls.

Advantages/Potential Benefits

  • Less labor is required for the manufacturing process
  • Less waste is generated during the production of prefabricated products
  • Speeds up and streamlines the prefabrication process
  • Lower Costs
  • Flexible product tailored to customer needs
