Solar Power Center of Excellence

The Fraunhofer Chile Research International Center of Excellence in Solar Power Technologies (FCR-CSET) began operating in 2015 with a view to developing applied science and technology solutions for industry needs. The Center receives funding from CORFO.

FCR-CSET and Chile’s Catholic University work together under the applied research model followed by the Fraunhofer Institutes in Germany to provide incentives for growth opportunities in the Chilean solar power industry.
