SIRVE S.A. is a technology development firm providing comprehensive solutions in the areas of Engineering and Earthquake-Resistant Devices, Complex Consulting, R+D+i, Virtual Design and Construction, Medicine and Testing for housing, hospital, industry, energy, vital infrastructure and transport lines.
Ever since the company was founded, its engineers have been working on innovative earthquake-resistant solutions to further industry advances, for example, they have devised solutions to enhance the performance of structures when hit by earthquakes and to mitigate the huge material and human damages caused by earthquakes in Chile and around the world.
SIRVE S.A. was founded in 2003 by engineers Carl Lüders and Juan Carlos de la Llera as a spinoff of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, under the auspices of DICTUC (UC Office of Scientific and Technology Research). It currently employs more than 60 staff members including renowned engineers with wide-ranging experience in structural analysis and design, designing and manufacturing earthquake-resistant devices, and construction.
