Steve Blank will speak at an exclusive UC event on scientific startups and investments
Leader of the Lean Startup movement and a global benchmark for technological innovation, he will join the UC Office of Transfer and Development’s upcoming January 19th Lab-to-Market program scheduled to air at 10:00 a.m. on Emol TV.
Steve Blank is a renowned Silicon Valley entrepreneur, a thought leader in startups and innovation. He was named to the Thinkers50 list of top management thinkers and recognized as one of the 12 Masters of Innovation by Harvard Business Review. His Lean Launchpad training program (taught at the National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps) has become the standard for commercializing scientific research results.
He currently works as an academic, teaching at Stanford, Berkeley, Columbia, and NYU and is the author of leading books on entrepreneurship such as, The Four Steps to the Epiphany and The Startup Owner’s Manual.
The interview with Steve Blank will be conducted by Daniel Hurtado, academic in the UC Engineering Department and technological entrepreneur, recognized by the World Economic Forum as one of the ten scientific hopes of the future.
This exclusive interview for Chile and Latin America will be aired on the Lab-to-Market TV program organized by Catholic University’s Office of Transfer and Development, with the support by CORFO, under a strategic alliance with ACAFI and collaboration from Fundación Chile’s Chile Global Ventures, Inapi, the Ministry of Science and Technology, CDTCChC, Incuba UdeC, and PUCV.
